To jump start excitement for the Viasat 2020 Retailer Incentive Trip, our team was asked to elevate the overall impression of this biennial event and motivate our satellite internet retailers to push for their best sales year yet.

At the creative kick-off meeting for the 2020 Retailer Incentive Trip, our team knew this was an opportunity to excite our retailers with event branding aligned with the high bar of prestige and adventure set by past trips. Inspired by the polish of trendy vacation clubs, we balanced Viasat brand styles with destination cues to help this motivational prize feel like an exclusive, luxury escape — the perfect reward after a year of high sales and hard work.

Lush destination photography and textures cue feelings of wanderlust, while punchy colors and a whimsical icon style weave Viasat branded polish throughout the overall event impression. Consistent styles and messaging play well across email communication, event pages, retailer print collateral, and swag, encouraging more retailers to stay motivated for the year-long contest. Our US sales team was thrilled with the excited response and engagement from our partners — in fact, promotional Club Viasat swag became a highly coveted item at retailer seminars in 2019 — and we all look forward to flexing this look to other incentive trips on the horizon.
